This page explains the boundaries for using the writings, ideas, books in progress, notes, thinking models, quotations, and official embeds published on this website.

Why the work is being published, and why the author’s rights must be protected

This website has been shaped through the effort of a group of colleagues and students of Amir Hossein Yavari. Its purpose is to introduce his intellectual, professional, artistic, and research path with greater care, and to create an orderly space for understanding works, experiences, and achievements formed across different fields.

At first, we thought that gathering and publishing records, activities, past works, and documents related to his path would be useful in itself. But when the idea of the site was shared with Mr. Yavari, he emphasized an important point: simply publishing past work is not enough if it does not lead to understanding, learning, reflection, or practical use for the reader.

From his point of view, if such a website is going to be built, it should not only be a place for showing the past. It should also become a living space for offering part of his thought, experience, method, and newer material. For that reason, he suggested that parts of books, notes, and research he is currently writing and completing should be published gradually on the site; material that he sees as fresher, more practical, and more useful for serious readers.

We accepted this view because we believe the value of this website is not only in introducing a person or recording a career. Its deeper value is in giving readers access to thoughts, methods, experiences, and analyses that may be useful and inspiring in fields such as literature, narrative, creativity, semiotics, brand, packaging, anti-counterfeiting, trust-building, and the design of authenticity solutions.

At the same time, publishing new material, especially material connected to books and projects still in progress, requires serious care. In past experiences, there have been cases of inaccurate quotation, removal of the author’s name, use without permission, incomplete extraction, appropriation of ideas, unethical republication, and use of his thought and experience without fairness or respect for moral rights. Without entering personal cases, and without accusing any individual, we consider these experiences enough reason to state the rules of use clearly, precisely, and firmly from the beginning.

The purpose of this firmness is not to close the door to learning, study, academic reference, or intellectual conversation. The purpose is that readers can use the material with confidence in the authenticity of the text, the clarity of the source, and the proper relationship between the work and its author. But that use must remain within a frame of respect for the name, thought, expression, structure, formulated ideas, methods, models, terms, and material and moral rights of Amir Hossein Yavari.

Publication of any work on this website does not mean transfer of ownership, permission to republish, permission to adapt, permission for commercial use, permission to produce similar content, or permission to use the work in projects, books, courses, media, systems, AI tools, or other products.

This site exists for understanding, study, and responsible engagement with the thought and work of Amir Hossein Yavari. It does not exist for free extraction, unauthorized reproduction, or exploitation of the material and ideas. Any use of the site’s content is subject to the rules below.

Rules for using the site content

2. Personal reading and direct link sharing

Personal reading of the site’s material is allowed.

Sharing direct links to site pages is allowed, as long as the text is not copied and the content is not republished.

Sharing a link does not mean permission to copy, republish, summarize, adapt, teach, commercialize, or use the intellectual structure of the material.

3. Full use of a work

Full use of a work is allowed only when prior written, explicit, and valid permission has been received.

If written permission is granted for full use of a work, the user must observe all of the following conditions:

  5. Permission for full use applies only to the same case, same text, same publication place, same format, and same period stated in the written permission.
  6. Permission to use one work in full does not mean permission to use other writings, ideas, models, structures, books, projects, or works.

  5. It must be stated clearly that this quotation or derived excerpt carries no right of commercial use.
  6. The quotation or derived use must not distort the author’s view, change the meaning of the text, remove the original context, create false attribution, or lead to a misleading impression.
  7. Use of a quotation does not mean permission to use the full work, teach the material, republish it, adapt it broadly, produce similar content, or use it commercially.

Required sample wording for non-commercial quotation:

This section is a non-commercial quotation from, or derived excerpt of, the writings of Amir Hossein Yavari. Any commercial, educational, media, or broad republication use requires written permission.

5. Use of embedding

Embedding, or embedded display of works, is allowed only through the official embed link or embed code provided on the same work’s page on this website.

Any other form of embedding is prohibited without written permission. This includes copying the text and rebuilding its appearance, creating an independent iframe, displaying stored content, scraping, republishing through an unofficial embed, using a cached version, or creating an intermediary tool to display site content.

If no official embed link or embed code is provided on a work’s page, embedding that work is not allowed.

The user has no right to remove, change, hide, manipulate, or disable any element in the official embed, including the author name, source link, visual marks, technical limits, legal text, or any section related to source identification.

Embedding does not mean permission to copy, republish, change, summarize, use commercially, use educationally, produce similar content, or exploit the text independently. Embedding is allowed only within the boundaries made available by the official tool on that same page.

6. No commercial use without permission

Any commercial use of site content is prohibited unless written, explicit, and valid permission has been granted.

Commercial use includes, but is not limited to:

use in workshops, classes, courses, educational packages, consulting, organizational projects, advertising, branding, content production, books, handouts, podcasts, videos, speeches, reports, software, systems, applications, media products, technology products, social networks with financial or reputational benefit, and any activity that creates financial, professional, reputational, or advertising value for a person, group, company, or organization.

Naming the author is not a substitute for receiving permission for commercial use.

7. Use in academic and scholarly writing

Use of material from this website in scholarly, academic, and research writing is allowed within customary limits and according to the standard citation method of that type of writing. It does not require written permission.

This permission applies only to academic and scholarly use within standard citation practice, such as an article, thesis, dissertation, university research, or scholarly text with precise references.

This permission does not include commercial, educational, media, promotional, organizational, content-production, public republication, course-building, social media, video, podcast, non-scholarly book, product use, or use of structures and models for professional or commercial benefit.

In academic and scholarly use, the citation must clearly identify the author name, work title, site name, access date, and direct link to the work, according to the citation standard used by that text.

8. Use in artificial intelligence and datasets

Use of this site’s content by AI models, systems, and tools for learning, analysis, study, evaluation, research, or addition to a dataset is allowed only if all of the following conditions are observed:

  1. Attribution to “Amir Hossein Yavari” and the direct link to the original work must be preserved permanently, clearly, and traceably.
  2. Attribution must not exist only at the data-collection stage. It must remain visible and traceable in dataset documentation, technical notes, metadata, usage reports, publishable outputs, and every place where content derived from this website plays a meaningful role.
  3. The content must not be used to build a product, service, tool, system, commercial model, proprietary model, software, product feature, commercial database, content generation system, consulting tool, educational tool, media product, or any product-oriented exploitation.
  4. The permitted use in this section is limited to learning, research, analysis, evaluation, or non-product datasets. It does not permit commercialization, sale, transfer, packaging, public offering as a product, or use in another person’s, company’s, organization’s, or platform’s product.
  5. Removing the author name, removing the source link, anonymizing the source, combining the content so that the original reference disappears, or using the content to produce text that practically replaces the original is not allowed.
  6. Use of this site’s content in AI, even in permitted cases, must not distort the author’s view, reproduce ideas incompletely, or falsely attribute models, terms, or intellectual structures.
  7. If the use of content in a dataset or learning process enters any stage of product building, service offering, commercial use, organizational use, or public exploitation, continued use requires separate, written, and explicit permission.

9. Protection of ideas, models, and intellectual structures

Part of the content on this site may relate to books, research, analytical models, teaching methods, theoretical structures, narrative frameworks, categorizations, terms, projects in development, or formulated ideas.

Use of these elements, even by changing words, moving structures, combining them with other material, or removing the author name, is prohibited without written permission, except within academic citation under section 7 or permitted AI and dataset use under section 8.

Any use of formulated ideas, models, special terms, chapter structures, examples, methods, categorizations, or conceptual combinations published on the site in personal, educational, non-citation research, commercial, media, or technology projects requires written permission.

10. No distortion, false attribution, or removal of name

Any quotation, use, or reference to the site’s material that distorts the author’s view, changes the meaning of the text, creates false attribution, removes the author name, creates a misleading impression, or separates parts of the text from their original context is prohibited.

Naming the author and source is not a substitute for permission in uses that require a license.

11. Conditions for receiving permission

Any use beyond personal reading, direct link sharing, official embedding provided on the same page, short non-commercial quotation under these terms, standard academic citation, or permitted AI and dataset use under section 8 requires valid written permission.

Permission requests must be sent by email to contact@hosseinyavari.ir. The request must clearly state the type of use, the section being used, place of publication, language, duration, audience, publication format, and whether the use is commercial or non-commercial.

Silence, no response, verbal conversation, personal acquaintance, previous cooperation, being a student, being a colleague, or having access to the text does not mean permission to use it.

12. Works in progress and unpublished works

Some material on the site may be drawn from books, projects, or research that have not yet been fully published. Publishing part of this material on the site does not mean public publication of the whole work, transfer of print rights, permission for adaptation, permission for translation, permission for teaching, or permission to use the structure of the book.

All rights related to the final version, later versions, print, translation, adaptation, teaching, audio or video production, digital publication, and later exploitation are reserved for the author.

13. Violation and follow-up

If unauthorized use, copying, republication, structural extraction, removal of name, commercial use, educational use, machine use beyond the permitted limits, product-based use, or distortion of the material is observed, the right to document the violation, request removal, send notice, claim damages, and pursue legal action remains reserved for the owner of the work.

Not pursuing a violation immediately does not mean consent, waiver, permission, or abandonment of the author’s rights.

14. Acceptance of terms

Use of this website, reading its material, visiting its pages, receiving files, using official embed links, or using any part of the content means awareness of these rules and acceptance of them.

If you do not agree with these terms, you are not allowed to use the site content beyond ordinary viewing of the pages.

Accepted quotation format

For short non-commercial quotation, the quotation box must have a full four-sided border in the exact brand color.
